毎年のクリスマスシーズンの楽しみの一つである、グローブトロッター（GLOBE-TROTTER）からのクリスマスカード（兼2019年の新年祝い）が今年も到着しました！
今年のカードデザインは、サンタさんが飛行機からパラシュートでおりてくるところ、というもの。
下部には、 “Watch out for Father Christmas parachuting from the skies this Christmas Eve- he always makes sure he delivers his presents on time!”とあります。
せっかくなので、私の手元にある過去のクリスマスカードも載せておきます。

The Venice-Simplon Orient Express, January 1st 1982. This private venture was launched in 1982, running restored carriages from the 1920s and 30s from London to Venice.
おわりに
こうして毎年分を並べてみると、白黒写真にサンタさん＋赤いグローブトロッターという恒例の図案がよくわかります。
そして、サンタさんが単にSanta だったり、Father Christmas だったりSanta Clausだったりと、ちょっとずつ違う表現が使われていることにも気付きますね。
来年のことを言うと鬼が笑うと言いますが、また来年のカードも楽しみです。
